Just becasue it is never been realesed in EU. I have bought a select edition copy from the Nintendo Store in NY!
DrZoidberg (on 04 June 2011)
might pick this up now with the price drop, looks like fun
spurgeonryan (on 22 May 2011)
did his game not come out as a gamers choice? Where are the sales! Where are the Wii 149.99 sales?
newwil7l (on 01 February 2011)
funnest sport game on wii isnt baseball an american sport
mpereira (on 09 April 2010)
hmm
PeteyPeeps (on 15 November 2009)
what the hell ... its STILL not out in PAL! ... waiting :-(
SmokedHostage (on 25 October 2009)
Good, but not amazing.

A good time could easily be had with this game.
ganondorf7799 (on 16 October 2009)
The Game Cube version was out in Europe and I really liked it.
And I will also buy the Wii version if it ever comes to EU
Nintendogamer (on 10 September 2009)
USA loves baseball so no suprise why this has sold well over there.
RCTjunkie (on 01 July 2009)
Actually pretty fun with my little bro.
uppertone (on 20 June 2009)
I think Nintendo didn't release this in Europe due to the lack of popularity of Baseball there, but they could have given it a try.
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 18 June 2009)
i think there is no point to wait for EU release anymore.... : (

too bad, and i was too happy all Toads were playable : (
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 19 May 2009)
I used to want this. Now it's gone almost a year since it got released everywhere else, and I'm thinking of not getting it as pure protest for being so late with getting it over here -.-

Yes, stupid, I know, but this kind of shit needs to stop, seriously...
naruto3336 (on 09 May 2009)
Undertracked by 200k.

TheConduit (on 22 April 2009)
With this the Wii has finally passed 50 games selling over one million.
PS: yes Wii Sports was bundled but in Japan where it wasnt it sold well over one million.
Smeags (on 18 April 2009)
Congratz on the big 1 million! :-D *Does the million seller dance*
VivaLaWiida (on 27 March 2009)
@naruto & vertigo
No it hasn't.
naruto3336 (on 24 March 2009)
has this been released in EU? This game will get to a million in 1-2 weeks.
axumblade (on 21 March 2009)
Should crawl to a million relatively soon!
Vertigo-X (on 19 March 2009)
Erm... This has been released in the EU, right?
TheConduit (on 07 March 2009)
I bet that the Wii will have 50% more games released in 2009 that sell a million than the Xbox 360.
Potentials:
House of the dead overkill
Madworld
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
Mario Super Slugers
The Conduit
Boom Blox
Dead Space Extraction
Punck Out
Madden
Tiger Woods Pro Golf
Metroid Prime
coonana (on 05 March 2009)
360 has also been out for way longer.
TheConduit (on 03 March 2009)
Xbox 360 has more million sellers.
But if you compare the top ten selling Wii games to the top ten selling Xbox 360 game's the Wii wins easily.
naruto3336 (on 25 February 2009)
million selller!!!!!!!!! WOOT GO WIII!!!!!

BTW, does someone know how many million sellers there are on the wii compared to ps3 and 360?
Chrizum (on 22 February 2009)
VGChartz needs to do something about this, everyone knows this sold over a million already in december, but it keeps getting adjustments downward instead of upwards.
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 19 February 2009)
... This got pushed further down? It lost 30k since last week. Come on, didn't Nintendo say they shipped like 1,3 mil of this?
Daileon (on 31 January 2009)
So VGChartz thinks that there's more than 300k units of this on the US shelves? C'mon, that's almost 30% of what's shipped, "you" know it need more adjusts...

Also, the numbers released as shipped by Nintendo are until end of 2008, there's a whole month more, so I think it's safe to consider there's 1.26M available (something like 0.25M on Japan and 1.01M on Americas).

What do you think? =)

On a sad side note, there's no word of a possible release on Europe at least in the Q1-2009 period. =/
kopstudent89 (on 31 January 2009)
ha just like i predicted :)
mario doesnt sell bad in the holidays... and this is mario baseball!
PEICanada7 (on 30 January 2009)
This game is being way under-tracked as Nintendo just released its Q3 million seller list, and according to that list Mario Super Sluggers has sold 1.21 million by Dec 31st 2008.
Zucas (on 04 January 2009)
I doubted this title's ability to go platinum but I did not know it would take off in America like it did. I should never doubt anything with Nintendo on it haha or Mario for that matter. Just such a huge character.
ganondorf7799 (on 03 January 2009)
I played the gc mario baseball and I liked it and I'am sure that this will also come to Europe
johnsobas (on 01 January 2009)
sold 50k last week with 1 more week of christmas sales. Gonna reach a million in 09.
bigjon (on 30 December 2008)
hmm, it is tracking alot like the GC version.... You would think that it would be doing better due to WiiSports and all... Also I think it could do 100k or more in others Baseball is popular in some parts of the very broad others region, like Korea.
kopstudent89 (on 27 December 2008)
yeah but it is a casual baseball game... i mean it could get around 100-200k of sales there which is decent enough
Zucas (on 27 December 2008)
I doubt it'll ever release in Europe. I mean it's not like baseball is too huge there anyways.
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 25 December 2008)
when is it reaching Europe?

why is Namco always so late to release games in Europe, because in this case, this game has the brightest future in Europe!
smac (on 21 December 2008)
This will make a million without others numbers, has there been a single Wii mario game that hasn't outsold it's GC initeration.
Arfen (on 07 December 2008)
the holidays season and the release in Others definitly can make this game reach 1 million
axumblade (on 02 December 2008)
Definitely one of the most fun sports games I've played in a long time.
MrBirdTurd (on 01 December 2008)
950k lifetime i bet i dont own this one
bob smith (on 28 November 2008)
@arsenal

I still call it crap sales, especially if compared to other games with mario(mario kart ssb smb etc.)
bigjon (on 21 November 2008)
should hit 1 million, but not by much... maybe 1.2-1.3 million ltd
arsenal009 (on 04 November 2008)
@bob

just cause it won't get a mln doesn't mean it has crap sales. They definitely made a profit with those amount of sales.
bob smith (on 29 October 2008)
crap sales
ugg1020 (on 25 October 2008)
Good game but it needs to be more fleshed out. Online would have been nice as well as a MUCH longer challenge mode (I beat it almost as quickly as a beat Mario Party 8). More of a pickup and play game like Mario Party 8 than a competitive game like Mario Strikers Charged.
Pretendo (on 23 October 2008)
If it gets released in Europe it'll reach 1 mil.
SSSBOLIMAR (on 13 October 2008)
this game is great!
kopstudent89 (on 04 October 2008)
well its holding of well till now... i'll call this a million seller, i think the holidays and a mario boxart are a terrifying combination
Zucas (on 28 September 2008)
It's hard to say whether or not this will hit a million. Gold seems to be a sure thing right about now but this title is going to have to sell around 750k-800k in America alone to do this as Japan isn't going to sell much more. Not to mention chances of a E/O release is slim and even so it wouldn't sell all that much.

If this title can at least maintain 15k-20k a week by holidays and then get up to 40k-50k within the holidays then we are looking at about 600k-700k by the end of the year. So ya know it's hard to tell right now but it'll be close.
kopstudent89 (on 26 September 2008)
nah it will get to a million. this is a holidays game
MontanaHatchet (on 21 September 2008)
I expected American sales to be a bit more stable. Maybe the reviews hurt it, or it launched too late. When's baseball season again?
trestres (on 19 September 2008)
I don't think this'll reach a million. It may eventually. Japan sales will stop at 250k max with the holiday boost.

America's sales could be 400 - 600k.
Eu others need to do at least 150k, doubtful.
Pretendo (on 18 September 2008)
The game is missing a lot of features.
--OkeyDokey-- (on 15 September 2008)
No Others release date? Not that I care, it looks rubbish :3
Wetcoaster (on 13 September 2008)
I'm not a baseball fan at all but.. this game is a blast to play with friends. =D
toastboy44562 (on 13 September 2008)
This game sucks.
Leni (on 13 September 2008)
this game is great!! : )
amp316 (on 12 September 2008)
I am not comparing this game to Brawl or Galaxy but it was beaten up more than it should have been. It's actually pretty fun.
coonana (on 09 September 2008)
the game lacks...everything
MontanaHatchet (on 08 September 2008)
Amp, look at the Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy reviews.
Zucas (on 07 September 2008)
Good start in America.
amp316 (on 02 September 2008)
I know that the exclusion of online has angered a lot of people but this is a pretty good game. Reviewers just enjoy pissing all over Nintendo lately. Look at the Mario Kart reviews.
arsenal009 (on 01 September 2008)
It looks like nintendo is going a step back. Strikers had online but not this, pretty sad.
SSSBOLIMAR (on 01 September 2008)
get this game
RCTjunkie (on 01 September 2008)
Have you guys seen the commercial for this?
Wierd stuff...
segajon (on 30 August 2008)
this game looks awesome
amp316 (on 30 August 2008)
@ Naum. Nope. It's cricket that's soooo boring.
O-D-C (on 30 August 2008)
No online? wtf....
sc94597 (on 25 August 2008)
It comes out in the U.S today? Hm I might get it. Anybody know if its good?
trestres (on 24 August 2008)
I think this will at least be a million seller.
Naum (on 21 August 2008)
Probably won't be a hit in Europe I mean Baseball is Sooo Booring.
SJGohan3972 (on 18 August 2008)
what type of launch and what type of legs do you think this one will have? I'm iffy on wether it can pass Strikers Charged.
RCTjunkie (on 25 July 2008)
Toadette is playable, therefore, I'm buying it.
bigjon (on 23 July 2008)
5th week saw a sales increase.... this game is the epitome of a casual game launch on little hype... I actually want this if it has the same gameplay(but deeper) as WiiSports baseball.
MontanaHatchet (on 19 July 2008)
Uppertone: So far there are no plans for a PAL release and it probably wouldn't sell all that well there anyways.
uppertone (on 18 July 2008)
I wonder if it might sell in Others. Baseball is not very popular in Europe.
Explosivo (on 16 July 2008)
Catchy name...
fuegonian (on 09 July 2008)
I wish i didnt have to buy Mario games! I'm not sure i even want this one, but there i'll be on launch day waiting at the check out...
Killergran (on 01 July 2008)
I guess this is meant to sell to those that liked Wii Sports Baseball, and are craving more? If so, I might have to find a person to trick into buying it so I can play it...
Gearbox (on 01 July 2008)
Well what bugs me is how this will be a million doller seller as soon as it's released in America and others.
Strategyking92 (on 30 June 2008)
here we go (again)
whacker41 (on 29 June 2008)
better first week sales than mario soccer for the wii, even without online.

very good sales.
FaRmLaNd (on 28 June 2008)
Should have strong US sales.
Gt-Gamer (on 27 June 2008)
Not a fan of baseball, I will skip this one
supermario128 (on 15 June 2008)
Yes it does.
perculator (on 14 June 2008)
Looks pretty good
