but even back then people didnt want blurry crappy graphics as you can see by the sales. Aidyn chronicles came out towards the last few months of the 64 lifecycle and it still put out 100,000 in sales...tsk tsk

Glad I picked this game up in 2001. Very well done game, graphical issues aside.

this game was superb :-)

One of the best games of its day, hugely underrated and as said above a forerunner for the GTA series as it was developed by the same company DMA Design.

It was pretty ugly and very foggy but the vehicles were a lot of fun, who can forget driving the Ice Cream van!! The insects looked sweet and the way they worked together was very cool.

This game deserves a sequel!

And if I may add to that, http://cube.ign.com/articles/759/759931p1.html

IGN considers it one of the top ten underrated and underappreciated games.

You can really see how this game was the forerunner to Grand Theft Auto. The open ended environments, the vehicles to commandeer, the giant alien insects.

It was a pretty flawed game (and ugly to boot), but fun and challenging. It didn't quite get the respect it deserved.
