Final Fantasy VII is a RPG that was developed by SquareSoft for the original PlayStation console, PC and PSN. Developement began in 1994 originally for the SNES, but was later moved to the Nintendo 64, but since it lacked in catridge space Square decided to take a gamble with Sony's new Playstation console.

It first released on the Playstation but had seperate release dates, beginning on January 31st, 1997 for Japan, September 7th, 1997 for America, and November 17th, 1997 for Europe. It later released for the PC on June 24th, 1998 in America and June 25th, 1998 for Europe. Over 10 years later and it made it's way onto the PSN on April 16, 2009 for Japan, June 2nd, 2009 for North America and June 4th, 2009 for PAL.

the mods available.

My only gripe with the PC version was
the midi music.

How so? It's much nicer and faster then
the PS1 version.

Yea, I would have rather have gotten the
PS1 version of the game for a birthday
gift rather than have to play it while
sitting close to a computer monitor. I
was subject to many headaches during my
time with this PC game.
