Capcom results for the June 2011 quarter have arrived. The company generated revenues of 11.953b ($151.3m), down 37% from the June 2010 quarter with profits of 318m Yen ($4.3m) for the quarter. Previously, the company had expected to earn 86b Yen in revenue with a profit of 7b Yen for the March 2012 year. Capcom has maintained that forecast based on its performance in the first quarter of the fiscal year.

Capcom cited Monster Hunter Portable 3 (100k for the quarter), Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (400k), Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (300k), and Monster Hunter Frontier Online Forward 1 as strong performers in the June 2011 quarter. Capcom's platinum page also lists Super Street Fighter IV for 3DS as a million-shipping title. Mobile games Smurf's Village, Monster Hunter, Zombie Cafe and Lil Pirates also performed well for Capcom during the quarter. Smuf's Village has been downloaded over 19m times (!) according to Capcom.

Capcom did not provide any new forecast information for the rest of the year, but in its previous forecast the company expected to ship 2.5m units of Resident Evil: Raccoon City, 2.0m units of Street Fighter x Tekken, 1.5m units of Dragon's Dogma, and 800,000 units of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record - all titles for X360 & PS3 - in the fiscal year to March 2012.
