Sony increased its forecast from 16 million to 17 million units shipped for the 2018 fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2019.

Sony's Game & Network Services division saw revenue increase year-over-year to ¥472.1 billion from ¥348.1 billion, while operating income increased to ¥83.6 billion.

Ps4 is still going strong. Should have no problem beating the Wii.

Interesting side note. VG Charges predicts 1.67 million Switch Units on Store Shelves and 1.6 million PS4 Units on Store Shelves.

I might be missing something because you're the second person I've seen say 1.6m switchs on shelves, but 19.67-18.3 means 1.37m switch's on shelves.

PS4 still going so strong it's scary yet makes perfect sense. Love the library and it's the only 8th gen console I own as I have no need for a switch and Xbone since PS4 gets most of the games on the market + a flood of exclusives.

No doubt it’s still leading the pack in sales numbers though. We should be getting June NPD soon. It will be very interesting if PS4 still manages to come out on top, despite having a “not so great” E3.
