EA: PS4 and Xbox One have Sold a Combined 55M Units - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 29 January 2016 / 6,031 ViewsElectronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen has revealed the combined install-base of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is now at 55 million units.
Microsoft has not revealed sales of the Xbox One in quite sometime, however, Sony has stated PlayStation 4 sales were at 35.9 million units as of January 3rd. That would put Xbox One sales at the end of 2015 around 19 million units.

Sales of the Xbox One are just over half of the PlayStation 4. Microsoft might not be able to catch up to the PlayStation 4, however, sales of the Xbox One are currently ahead of the Xbox 360 during the same amount of time.
Thanks GamesIndustry.

One console is clearly doing better than the other. Which is really different then what we saw last gen.
Yet both are doing better than their predecessors.
Does around 19m mean over or under it though?
Under, EA, is just making estimates, and we already have PS4, with 35.9 Units sold, Xbox One, can be 16-19 Millions, no one knows.
Both are doing good.
Thats great, both consoles are doing amazing
