Sega Lowers Expected Full Year Profits by 90% - News

Sega has reduced its expected revenue and profits for the fiscal year ending March 2016.
The forecast for revenue for the fiscal year was lowered by ¥65 billion (15%) to ¥355 billion. That caused projected net profits to fall from ¥19 billion to just ¥2 billion; a 90 percent drop.
"Operating results of the Entertainment Contents Business for the current fiscal year is expected to fall below the initial forecast due to a delayed release schedule of mainstay titles against the initial plan in the packaged game software field and amusement machine field as well," said Sega.
Sales expectation for its pachislot machines were reduced from 265,000 units to 154,00 units, while pachinko machine expectations were dropped from 220,000 units to 203,000 units.

I wonder what happens when someone leaves the PC space and turns their back on them, recently we have Cliffy B groveling to PC gamers with cheap PR since he's making an exclusive F2P MP based game which has him with the hammy PR despite years back on him calling all PC users pirates and the like, personally I'd tell him to jog on.

No people, let Nintendo wait until Sega is bought for more than its worth. I'm giving Sega 2 years before Nintendo buys it for several million or whatnot.
