Meanwhile MS is giving PC a slew of titles and BC support in the future while Sony cut ties with PC gaming with VAIO and SOE and has since made no mention of ever wanting to support PC gaming, porting one game over at a later date isn't really good guy mentality.

Yeah, that's why so many games are cross-play for ps4 and pc because sony cut ties with pc gaming.

Dunno why you'd get downvoted for wanting to try it out, I guess some people are pretty salty about it.

Some comments on here get downvoted because people don't agree with them, this website is about opinions if you find that people don't agree with your opinions as a whole at least take some good from that, you are unique and against what most people consider to be the done thing.

I personally think that when you mention the fact that getting dislikes on your comments annoys you... more people will do it, either because like/dislike comments add nothing to the articles(this isn't a popularity contest) or like I said you've shown a clear way for people to annoy you with a single click.

I don't really get annoyed by it though. I find it as a valid immature act for people to downvote what they disagree with, that's what led to Disqus getting rid of the downvote system, same with Google because both knew what toxicity it brought and they only left upvotes in place (which breeds circle jerking). The point is is that when they got rid of the downvotes, people actually had to instead of relying on a fancy red button to down the opposing option, they had to actually come forth and voice their opinion towards what they disliked or who they didn't agree with and well of course not everyone wants to do that so they technically lose in that aspect. I know that some people hate me on here like they hate Zero and hate anyone else who doesn't conform to their opinions or their side of thinking but in the end it just shows how intolerant the sites users are against differing opinions. I am actually tolerant of others opinions but I don't tolerate the spread of misinformation when it comes to PC gaming or people trying to down other platforms (which happens oh so much on here in regards to PC gaming and you cannot deny that the platform gets shat on here a lot of the time anything good comes up). But again the downvotes don't actually annoy me, if anything I laugh at them because it shows I actually bother to voice with words than relying on clicking a single button, I;m not scared of voicing my opinion or talking to someone else face to face like a man, I'm no coward.

Just a short one, but if you think that writing comments on a message board is talking to someone face to face there is something wrong from the get go.
As for the destruction of misinformation and agendas people have against PC gaming? I find that boring and have found myself actually facepalming comments regarding it, seen threads and threads where people run into an issue with either a game or piece of hardware on their PC and have been called liars and in one thread about a PC build actually seen a request of pictured proof of someone having a PC or otherwise they were just lying... taking "PCs are great" to the level where Zero at least attacks users outright for having a PC issue is pretty awful, my job is IT support in a centre with 300 or so PCs I have a full time job providing tech support, so to suggest to me that PC issues are non existent or lies is laughable.
Sorry if this comes off as being ranty or so but yeah when it comes to the downvote system I myself like it, because when something is said which I myself would disagree with but I can see on here that it gets mostly upvotes I see that the majority of gaming community sees something in a different way to me.

TO me I just dislike the cowardice in using downvotes, it shows one is unwilling to talk things out with another person, either face to face or via a chat if we're going to go with the definitions or something being mentally wrong (I;m getting that from your first part). I find misinformation annoying in the cases where someone knows they are doing it deliberately, even when corrected they do it and then it comes to a point where they are unwilling to learn. yeah I'd facepalm too but I;d rather correct it first, you yourself work as IT support, it's your job to help instead of facepalm and move on or whatever you're suggesting. I honestly don't understand the whole involvement of PC parts and zero coming into this, you're making it sound like "hey you brought this upon yourself/ PC gaming is naf" kind of message, Yeah PC gaming has it's issues but so do consoles (because at this point we're now talking about the cons of PC from what you wrote). You don't come off as ranty to me, in fact you're probably one of the few who actually prefer to converse than simply slamming the dislike button and calling it a day and I can respect that. Also you don't resort to name calling like a certain someone down below who is trying to antagonize me.

Regarding working in IT support I meant I facepalmed @ the suggestion that there is never an issue with PC usage. I'm very good at my job when it comes to treating people respectfully when they mess up rather massively, even managing to be polite and explain the issues with the PC one person was trying to use in our centre which was actually just a monitor/keyboard/mouse which had been left at a desk, there was no actual PC present, was tough, but I managed to explain it without laughing!

But yeah while I agree that a Them VS Us attitude is not really productive from either side of an argument, people going about with "PC master race" in their sig isn't really inviting an open discussion as to their views on gaming is it? Compare it to something like Xbox empire/republic just suggests that people under that banner all love Xbox it doesn't suggest that Xbox is the best Brand or race over other gamers.

Regarding the underneath conversation tho, I think all fatslob-:O means is that you can't blame others for their opinion of you, everyone comes onto this forum basically with the same opportunities to introduce themselves and to get their points across to others, outside of having a user name such as "everythingnotsonyisshit" the opinion of those on here about every member is based on the posts they make. Going about with the idea that everyone on here just dislikes you because they have deep hatred of your gaming platform... but then again you say that Fatslob-:O isn't a PC gamer because he doesn't join the PC main thread on vgchartz? I don't go into a single one of those main official threads, does that mean I don't play any games? ^^' Just means I don't like threads reserved for a single fanbase.

I don't see how I'm even antagonizing people when I;m actually happy I'll get to play an IP I originally wanted to play but was bought as an exclusive by a company I had no interest in this generation and yet I'm the one being antagonized with downvotes by people who have never liked me until I conform to their ideals (in which they are unlikely to conform or see mine at all). Anything I say no matter what in any comments section will always be downvoted because some people on here are simply spiteful and immature and also prove that the downvote system needs to go along with the upvote and of course more moderation.

Oh I certainly do think of anything else beyond the scope you are trying to set this into. You are very much chained to this because you keep coming back to tell me and I keep pointing out.
