Harmonix has announced that AMPLITUDE will now be releasing on the PlayStation 4 in January, while the PlayStation 3 version will 'follow shortly behind', rather than this summer.

Those who purchased the early access tier on Kickstarter will get the PlayStation 4 version of the game this December.

It's not all bad news, however. Thanks to an increase in the game's budget, AMPLITUDE will now include 31 songs (the original pitch for the game was for 16 songs), two additional environments, a solo campaign, solo free play mode, 2-4 player free-for-all mode, and an all-new team play mode.
