Second Study Shows European Devs Moving Away From Mobile to PC - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 02 July 2015 / 3,269 ViewsA study conducted by GDC has discovered that European developers are moving away from mobile platforms to the PC. This is the second report this week to show such a trend.
46 percent of those surveyed said their last released game was for the PC, which is up from 38 percent last year. To compare, 40 percent said their last game was for mobile platforms, which is the same figure as last year.
Looking ahead, 67 percent of those surveyed said their next game will come to the PC, while 53 percent said their next game will be released on mobile platforms.
