So basically, the Wii U had a 1.25 million unit head start. PS4 is now within 900k of the Wii U... and Xbox One has sold nothing. As in, it probably costs more to pay their employees that they actually make in sales.

yea, although if you don't count launch week they are even since then. I mean launches are big in Japan. More importantly though it seems the PS4 has recently taken the lead in weekly sales and probably will have longer legs as well.

After Persona 5, FF15, and KH3 release, I can see PS4 clearing Wii-U easily there. Probably towards the end of next year.

I have to admit I laughed at that, in a cruel way, it's horrendously bad for X1

Japanese just cant really care too much for xbox. Microsoft might as well not bother with japan because I reckon it bleeds money for them.

The sales are so horrible that big question is now: will the Xbox ONE lifetime sales ever reach Xbox 360 first week sales in japan?

"The PlayStation 4 and Wii U have outsold the Xbox One every month since it launched in September 2014."

That's mega massive understatement.

WU is still 1,000,000 above PS4. It will be the first for a long time by now, PS4 is not gonna to outsell WU before 2017 imo.

Also, poor XBO... pretty irrilevant in Japan...
