Did better than any other souls game first week despite the small install base of the PS4 compared to that of the PS3 and so on.

Am loving the game and having already gone through a couple of play-through.

Nice sales for BB, I was expecting ~500k. Thank you ioi and VG team for updating numbers.

Same here, surprised that a title such as Bloodborne could achieve such success so early on in the PS4's life. Well done From Software

BLOODBORNE WELL OVER 1 MILLION IN SALES IN THE 1ST 2 WEEKS! Congrats! Possible GOTY deserved it! Demon's Souls which did win GOTY in many publications sold well in Japan & just decent in NA & not as much in EU. Dark Souls did a bit better. Then they took a step back with Dark Souls 2 imo Then Demon's Souls spiritual successor aka Bloodborne smashed all predictions! Which means PS4 will get a Bloodborne 2 within 2 years most likely! From Software FTW!

Not gonna break 1 million in 2 weeks. The NPD data for april was not good for bloodborne and in Japan it tanked pretty hard after the first week. Even if Europe sales were the same week 2 as 1 it would still not even be that close.

to be exact 82k for all of april NPD and 22k in japan second week. it needs 269k second week to make it.

i see that now, you are right. The numbers don't add up for physical so the remaining sales must be from digital.

By the time the numbers get reported on this site...it's very outdated and I personally have lost interest.

After this, Sony would be mad not to court purchasing FromSoftware.

Of course, that would really piss off the PC elitists if one of their favorite IPs became a console exclusive.

This isn't and never was a PC IP, though...

First Week !?
Sony should buy From Software, I'm sorry Ready at Dawn, you had your chance.

From Software usually puts out a lot of PS games either exclusives or outsources to companies like Bandai-Namco & Atlus to ship their games around the world. No need to buy them since most of their 1st & 3rd party games will hit the PS4. Also Ready at Dawn is an amazing company. Some of the best graphics on a console ever imo and makes fun games also imo. Ready at Dawn looks kool too & want to see The Order 1886 2. It ended with a nice cliffhanger. Ready at Dawn is made up of former Naughty Dog & Blizzard developers aka ubahness! They made Daxter & God of War games on PSP & Okami for the Wii which were great too. Also the PS4 horror exclsuive "Until Dawn" looks awesome! I'm a big fan of From Software & Ready at Dawn!

Ready at Dawn is particularly new and small game studio with one team, and from software is a game studio with like 5 teams. Unfair comparison.
