The One outselling the 260 is impressive indeed. However, I don't think we can give the One all the credit. Keep in mind price cuts were involved. Regardless though, very good! Happy to see the One come back after the backlash it took from May to June of 2013.... even though those practices were not accplicable to begin with.

and people are saying consoles are dying? at current rate the Xbox1 outsells its predecessor, PS4 almost is outselling the almighty PS2 and WiiU is outselling at least the gamecube

The Wii U is Nintendo's worst selling home console, so yeah its not outselling it. Other than that I can pretty much agree!

Add your reply...Yes it does shikamaru! However this is not a fair comparison,gc had two consecutive big price drops in its first two years and sold 13m in these two years, the 60% of its LT sales, then it tanked to 4m in its third year...
So wii u must sell more than 4m this to lower the gap but if it gets a like gc price cut,the gap can close dramatically!

*The prices cuts of gc were -50$ and -50$ respectively...

So going back to trailing it. X1 should start beating it January-October. They can't just count on making up the gap every November and December unless they plan on price cutting every year.
