Capcom: Resident Evil 7 Will Blow Your Minds - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 29 January 2015 / 5,845 Views

Resident Evil 7 will set a standard and it will blow gamers minds, according to the producer of Resident Evil: Revelation 2 Michiteru Okabe who spoke with Videogamer.

"Unfortunately we work on Revelations and that's kind of it. We don't really have a window into whatever else is going on," said Okabe. "That would be a separate team and whatever that team is doing we're confident that those guys are going to do something that's going to blow our minds. We can't wait to basically be there with you guys to find out whatever the heck that is."

Oh brilliant, not only are developers creating unrealistic expectations about he quality of their games, now they're doing it when they don't even know what those games are!
Incidentally, Final Fantasy 16 is going to rock your world! They haven't started working on it, but I just know!

It'll blow my mind, if it goes back to actually feeling like a Resident Evil game.

I don't usually complain about non-news, because I think all the little goings-on in the gaming industry are a part of the experience and are fun to share. But this is the most non-news non-news I've ever seen.

"I have no clue what they're doing, but I guarantee it will be awesome." Very credible indeed.

I've never played the original, but i do want RE1 HDR. Hopefully they bring it back to its old roots.

I don´t like when companies try to create hype over a product with statements like this....... even worse when the product is still in its early development....... this kind of thing always lead to dissapointments......

I'm optimistic about RE7 because Capcom can't really afford to fuck up more.

I played every RE game and I have enjoyed them all, so I am not worried.

If Konami can get us to have renewed faith in Silent Hill, Capcom has no excuse not to so the same for RE7

they might not know about the game, but they're finance directors could very well have laid out a set of microtranactions and dlc plans that will indeed blow peoples minds.
