Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Sells 2.57M Units Worldwide First Week - News

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launched at the top spot of the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending November 22, 2014. The game had one of the biggest launches for an exclusive in 2014 selling 2,575,149 units worldwide at retail. The game also sold 948,713 units in the US and 1.5 million units in Japan.
Earlier in the week, The Pokémon Company announced the game had sold 3.04 million units worldwide in its launch, which includes digital sales. With retail sales of 2.57 million units, that would put digital sales at about 465,000 units.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launched in North America and Europe on November 21.
