$13.5 Billion?! That's a pretty good amount of revenue from just one division of the corporation. Hopefully they continue to sell off their less profitable divisions, and focus on the ones that make them money.
Yeeeh... no! Except that is not what Sony or Dualshockers said.
Sony had forecast for the current fiscal year of 1,290 billion yen in sales. Now they are forecasting between 1,400 and 1,600 billion yen.
Not "a huge increase of 1.29 trillion yen" (= 1,290 billion yen), but a between 110 and 310 billion yen (= between 0.11 and 0.31 trillion yen) increase, wich is great but not what William D'Angelo is writting here.
It's been a great year for Sony.
For the Playstation brand moreso but yeah outside of their mobile department they are all making some bit of money, good to see.
