Assassin's Creed: Unity Sells 780K First Week in US - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 21 November 2014 / 6,797 ViewsUbisoft's latest title in its Assassin's Creed franchise, Assassin's Creed Unity, has sold 780,100 units in its first week in the US at retail, according to VGChartz. The Xbox One version was the top platform with sales of 395,519 units. The PlayStation 4 version sold 347,804 units, while the PC version sold just 36,777 units.
This year was also the first year that two Assassin's Creed titles were released at the same time. The 7th generation consoles saw the release of Assassin's Creed: Rogue. The game sold 120,609 units combined in the US. The Xbox 360 version sold 73,954 units, while the PlayStation 3 version sold 46,655 units.
Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed: Rogue both launched in the US on November 11, 2014. Both games launched in Europe on November 13 and 14.
