I expect X1 to lose its lead to the 360 by the end of this year or early next

Let's put this into perspective:

360 launched in 36 Countries
X1 launched in 13 and is beating 360 by 800k.

In September X1 launches in 28 more Countries, later in China.

X1 is doing very well

Gears of War >>>> XB1's 2014 holiday season. Lets not forget almost everything was a 360 exclusive back in 2006, and 360 looked better then the over-priced PS3.

XB1 has 3 Major AAAs still to come at the end of 2014. MCC alone will bolster its lead against the 360.

I think that XBOX ONE will sell between 8m and 8.5m by end of year.
XBOX 360 have sold 8.1m by end of 2006. I think that X360 will pass XBOX ONE by march 2015.

Looks like it'll gain a bit this September thanks to Destiny's boost to XBO in the US. After that I'm not sure, but if things don't turn around 360 should gain the lead sometime over the next year.

360 will have the lead after the holidays. Gears of War did wonders for that console, and XB1 is already struggling.
