Here we see data representing the global sales through to consumers and change in sales performance of the four home consoles and four handhelds over comparable periods for 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.  Also shown is the market share for each of the consoles over the same periods.

I never really expected the PS3 to sell on par with the X1. 1,4m PS3 and 1,6m X1 in 2014.

Next month will be interesting. Mario Kart 8 should give the WiiU a huge boost, but 2 weeks later XB1 will get the Kinect-free model which will also make a huge boost. Will WiiU top XB1 by August?

The Wii U would need to double its total sales so far this in addition to how many the xb1 sells between now and then.
