In November, the PlayStation 4 took an early lead over the Xbox One. The PS4 currently leads by 523,927 units in the first month. The gap is expected to grow slightly in December as both consoles are severely supply constrained. Just about every console shipped will be sold out almost immediately.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both launched this month in North America and Europe. The PlayStation 4 launched on November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe. The Xbox One launched on November 22 in North America, as well as Europe.
