I think there is a mistake in PSP lifetime sales.
PSP Lifetime sales are 94.9 million? When did PSP sell 20 million units all of a sudden? -----At this rate I think the 360 and maybe even the PS3 will surpass PSP sales by fall 2013, and GBA the following year. Don't know if PSP can top GBA in sales, it probably can, but not anytime soon.
I was going to ask the same! 20 millions in one month is a new record! XD
..funny mistake!
2012 for Vita/3DS is a near copy of 2009 for PSP/DS. Weird.
No it isn't DS sold nearly 14 million units by this point in 2009, and PSP did 5 while 3DS is 6.5 and PSV is 2 and a quarter. 3DS sales are just under half of DS sales in 2009 and PSV is slightly less. The ratio's are similar, is that what you meant? However DS outsold the PSP by similar ratios prior to 2010 (when the 3DS was announced)
The ratios are similar, yes...but the Vita seems pretty overtracked so who knows. We'll have to see what the NPD throws up really.
3ds is kicking ass
If 3DS surpasses 11 million this year, it will be ahead of the DS with aligned launches. I think 3DS will do that, and I hope it keeps it up to make it #1 overall.
