In a new monthly feature, VGChartz takes a look at the big titles coming our way in September. This month, one game dominates our list - Borderlands 2. With more than 550,000 pre-orders just in the USA to date, we predict first week sales of around one million units in the USA - one of the biggest launches of the year to date. At the end of the month, two more juggernauts arrive - World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria and FIFA 13 in Europe. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 rounds out the list as the biggest of the remaining games during the month. Expect Guild Wars 2 and Madden NFL 13 to continue to sell well following strong launches at the end of August.
Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter with RPG elements, being released on PC,Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It is being developed by Gearbox Software and is being published by 2K Games. It's being released on September 18, 2012, in the US, September 21 in Europe and on October 25 in Japan.
It is a sequel to the 2009 hit, Borderlands, and takes place five years after the events of that game. The game's main antagonist, Handsome Jack, has taken over Hyperion Corporation, and has declared himself the Dictator of Pandora. He completed negated any credit for the first game's protagonists' finding of the Vault, as well as their credit for killing the Destroyer. You play as one of four new protagonists, tasked with killing Handsome Jack and bringing peace back to Pandora.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is the fourth expansion set for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, following Cataclysm. It was announced on October 21, 2011 at BlizzCon 2011 and will be released on September 25, 2012.
The game is set after the events of Deathwing and the Cataclysm. The major setting is the titular land of Pandaria, one of the continents of the world of Azeroth. Discovery of Pandaria is made after a naval battle between the Horde and the Alliance. It had previously been hidden by magic since The Sundering, only to resurface.
FIFA 13
FIFA Soccer 13 is a soccer simulation game that was developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts' subsidiary EA Sports.
In FIFA 13, The way players control the ball has been transformed, eliminating near-perfect touch for every player on the pitch, and creating more opportunities for defenders to win back possession. Poor passes are harder to control, enabling defenders to capitalise on errant balls and poor touches. Factors such as defensive pressure, trajectory of the ball, and velocity of the pass all factor into a player’s success.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the eighth main installment in the Tekken franchise and the sequel to Tekken Tag Tournament (1999). The game was released in Japanese arcades on September 14, 2011. A console version based on the update will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2012, and for the Wii Uduring winter 2012.

I am happy for Borderlands 2. Quality open world games with lots of content deserve success. A million copies first week in the US alone!! That means it has potential for 6-8 million lifetime and for Borderlands to settle in as a truly huge franchise up with games such as Fallout, Resident Evil and Assassin's Creed.
DEAD OR ALIVE 5!!! For me it is the only game I am buying in September.

I thought Ragnarok Odysessy was releasing on the Vita in September as well.

not sure why you're getting thumbs down for not being interested in a handful of fairly odd games here, Tekken tag will probably sell but not be great, DoA5 I'm sure will be really deep and technical fighter with 100% focus on serious fighting... and fifa and border lands are cool if you're game for fps or football... not like there isn't a ton of those around. this is a cool feature, but yeah these aren't massive games for a lotta people.
should point out I left out pandaland, I'm actually 1 of the 10m people who play and love wow.... but I know there are over 6billiion others who aren't excited by it. wouldn't thumb them down for it tho :D
I played fifa.... ummm.... 95 I think still own the cartridge. good game, not heard any new features that really tickled my fancy, tis still 11 a side after one ball right? :D maybe when real soccer introduces multiball a la pinball they can release an actual sequel to soccer as a video game.
