Ceaseless Discharge (BOSS)
The Ceaseless Discharge is a rather large fire demon (complete with tentacle-like appendages) that impedes your progress in Demon Ruins. It is wise to wear some physical resistance armor, with some fire resistance as well in case the boss gets off its one attack on you; you'll want to have a magical weapon, maybe lightning-based. You'll be fighting on a cliff, so make sure you don't fall off. The boss doesn't have many attacks, so you don't have to worry about too many of them. If you're up close to it, it will do a horizontal swipe across the ground. It can also slam its tentacles on the ground, leaving them there for a few seconds (this is when you attack). If you're farther away, it will let out something like a roar and its tentacles will be on fire; when it slams it on the ground, it will let out the fire around the tentacle. There is a rather easy way to defeat this boss, which involves the little passageway that leads away from the cliff. When you go through the fog gate, don't rush forward too quickly, as you might face the wrath of the boss' fire attack. When you get into the corridor, go into the corner and wait until Ceaseless Discharge looks at you, then run to the right to avoid its tentacle slam. Run back quickly to get a few hits off on the tentacle, then wait a few seconds and do it all over again.

@Daguza - Well this did great for a port and no sales in Japan.

This game had such strong legs on a new platform, and that's amazing considering how niche the game can be sometimes. Though the Ps3 version almost double it in sales, but that's mostly thank to Japan, which doesn't help this version at all.
