i think the best idea is a boxing game, where you lean on the board, and your character leans in the direction. then the wiimote and nunchuck are just used for punching and blocking. Message | Report |

This could be a real cool experience to combine excercise and gaming... Using the Wii Fit controler combined with remote an nunchuck. Imagine an FPS game or an action adventure using FIT for movement and Nunchuck + Remocon simultaneously. Cool! Message | Report |

I don't know about that Montana. I hate to use the f-word but exercise equipment/routines that get mainstream coverage become very successful fads. Not with the typical gamer crowds but the general population as a whole. With the right PR and marketing support WiiFit should sell millions in the US also. I don't know if i'd go as high as ben and say 10M WW but it looks to be able to do at least 2-3 million in Japan alone (very conservative given that it's currently supply constrained and will hit 1 million in a week or two) so i'm guessing 5-7 million would be a safe bet if not more. if you got bored of wii sports after a week you either have no friends or don't like fun. seriously, what is wrong with you. that game is so simple and so incredibly fun and one of the best multiplayer games out right now. the reason why its so popular is cuz you don't have to be a gamer, or like a certain genre, or be able to master difficult controls, you just have to be in the mood for fun. if you don't like it you are way too biased against nintendo and need to try and just enjoy good games instead of hating something just because it happens to be trouncing your console of choice. anyway please sony fanboys stop saying ps3 is gonna win this gen, you have been sounding very pathetic for like half a year now. or at least just throw all your sony is gonna win posts in one thread so no one has to read the BS except for other lost and confused fanboys. Back to this generation sells everyone thinks the wii is going to keep up in japan its not look at the last 3 generations for nintendo in japan gc 4m 64 and snes were not all that much either ps3 will win in japan. At the end of the day you can't argue with sales, and at the moment the Wii and DS are winning, hands down. And as long as Microsoft and Sony continue to butt corporate heads in every attempt to out each other, the Wii will keep on soaring merrily ahead until it is out of sight. If you think Microsoft will give up its second place slot to Sony, you can think again. This tells a lot about the Japanese audience if this is the number one game. Maybe if western developers want to sell better in Japan, they should stop making anime RPG's, and start making simple games like this one. Personally, I think this is a casual game , and it is a little to gimmicky for my taste. I would have to agree with destroyer and Renar on this one. Actually, I come close to agreeing with destroyer. Like with nintendogs, I'll probably be fasinated with the novelty of it at first. Amused by its 'in-depth simplicity', that is, simple to use, but lots of feed-back from it. But in a few weeks, get bored by it. And be bemused to find out, like nintendogs, the game/attachment finds one or more niches in the marketplace and go on to sell 15 million and counting. Who knows, I might even find myself in one of those niches. And the rating? Yeah, wait to play it first. But does it matter for this type of game? Nintendogs is at 7.64. Most games a point higher would LOVE to have half the LTD sales it does. Message | Report |
