whats gun lag? is that when u move ur cursor and it feels as tho u can feel the weight of the gun? i think thats a sickkk feature and makes it more realisitic cause u move slower with heavier guns. in cod u can move every gun at the same speed. feels fake

Killzone 2 is beating every other shooter in NeoGAF's GotY voting thread. As of the first 15 pages, it's leading its closest competitor, Modern Warfare 2, 227 votes to 131.

I doubt too many websites aside from GameSpot and all the PlayStationWhatever.coms will give it the credit it deserves, though. Call of Duty is what's popular, and Call of Duty is what'll get them hits.

@Gearbox,yeah i got plat for it,before all the DLC came out htough,the hardest one is probably getting twenty kills with the specific bonus weapons,as no one seeems to play there...not sure now,you didnt have to when they first came out...

Decent sales, but not going to light world on fire. For a AAA, blockbuster first-person shooter with some of the best graphics of this generation, it should be selling more.

This game is getting little holiday bump. It had a nice bump for a few weeks after the Slim dropped, and a nice week on Black Friday, but now it's back to sub-20k, and will probably only break 20k for this week and next before dropping back down to pre-Slim numbers.

It deserves so much more. =/

I don't think anyone thinks KZ2 sucks, especially with it's very loyal fanbase and the fact it just keeps on selling week after week.

It's an awesome game, with incredible visuals and gameplay, but it is very hard core, which may not be to everyone's tastes.

Bought the game a few months ago to go with my new PS3, played it for awhile thought the online was neat. It was ok, but just didn't seem as fun as I thought it would be. The only thing that keep me interested was the class system but that wore off after awhile. Good game, glad it was successful, but not for me.

It's a great game, but they should've left it EXACTLY like the E3 2006 video. That would've been amazing. I love the original Killzone's gameplay, and with the graphics of Killzone 2, it could've been my favorite game ever. But they had to go and make it completely different from the first one.

Closing in on the 2M mark, looks like it got a nice boost in EU after it went platinum. I'm hoping they roll out more DLC soon to reinvigorate the online community since it's getting a bit stale and they're going to need to do something to counter the MW2 release.

I think Killzone 2 would have been a lot bigger if not for the flawed original. Hopefully, it keeps selling over time and the developers recoup the costs and give us a balls-out sequel.

I do occasionally get a hankering for some FPS action, but I want a good, strong SP story. But that seems to be the weak spot for this game. I guess it'll be a renter for me, at some point.

I think this game had a great online multiplayer, but the SP is what held it back, for me, from reaching CoD hights, and MW, imo, is the best FPS ever made, so that's no insult.

I don't know, this game hasn't gone through a holiday yet, hasn't had a price drop yet, so I definitely think 3 million is possible, and it WILL be bundled at some point too, and probably heavily bundled.

And 2 to 3 million in sales IS very good, even if Sony had higher expectations. Very few games sell that many copies.

MW2 = Most Overhyped FPS EVER. The Call of Duty series is a good one, I acknowledge this, but people act like it owns everything when it doesn't. I prefer KZ2 over MW, don't know about MW2, because it's not out yet. This will hit maybe.. 2.5 in its lifetime.

Don't spin it any other way. And with the outrageously good game selection this Christmas, why would people choose KZ2 over others? Especially MW2?

This is a 2mil, or MAYBE 2.5 mil seller. Did not even get close to what they anticipated or hoped for.

Poor Sales? Unreal. It'll probably do 3 million lifetime. Any other game outside of Halo and COD and that would be considered a massive success. Anyone that thought this would do Halo numbers was living in a dream world, or was setting it up to fail. I mean hell, Bioshock 360 sold similarly at this point in its life, do we consider that gamea failure?! And make no mistake, Killzone 2 will continue to move numbers, and will probably sell a lot this holiday.

that bit is mega hard, move from one side of the balcony to the other whenever you hear a rocket launch, and use the sniper rifle to kill them. once you've killed them you get a save point.

then it gets really hard!

game is so hard on elite. just managed to get through Visari Square... jeese, it's a proper struggle.

Second time round on the single player. I advise you to do it all over again, you see so much more detail second time round.
