@SuperAnthony64 Black Ops certainly has more online mulitplayer features but Goldeneye's feels different and that could be good for some. I felt I could take my time more (comparatively anyway) in GoldenEye in Black Ops. It always felt frantic in BO. While at times that's okay at others it's beyond annoying. Message | Report |

@shinblade, I'm guessing that part of the issue with those sales figures you mention may be based on the weekly model VGChartz uses. This must decrease accuracy somewhat. You are right though, it shouldn't be compared to NPD. VGChartz is useful for quick estimates that - on average - give a rough idea of success levels of products. Ideally, these should then be tinkered with on long-term sales figures - as and when NPD in US and other similar groups worldwide release sales figures. In this way VGChartz is useful as repository of games and information about those games. Message | Report |

my bad, still can you explain how the psp was so undertracked or the ps3 was so overtracked, or how the 360 was so undertracked by 300,000, were talking about a huge margin of error, what december npd have huge margin of error once again, i think vg charts is cool but fpr people comparing to npd are a joke there really just predictions with a few cheating advanges. Did we actually read the same article shinblade? VGChartz did an estimate for Kinect 2 days after it launched. They estimated 475 thousand, while the actual figure seems to have been 550 thousand. They then did a 2nd estimate 10 days after launch, which also took into account Europe, and pegged this at 1.1 million. Microsoft then put out a statement saying they had sold 1 million in 10 days worldwide. If there is some other way of reading the article I would certainly be interested to hear about it. @elvenearth yes they way 10x more reliable, they are official numbers that publishers like sony, microsoft and nindendo use and if they say golden eye o007 sold 73k then it did in november, nevermind the fact, the last month vgchartz undertracked, psp by 40%, overtraked ps3 by 25% and undertracked 360 by 300,000, you really think being almost off by a million ubnits is close, get real dude. Also, shinblade, NPD numbers are done using somewhat the same method as VgChartz. The numbers are extrapolated based on having a network of stores they contact and then trying to build a picture of the whole country from that. @swii, fps sell just fine on the wii this will prove, the hd twins actually aren't that great for fps games, just everything is ignored in the face of Big series, first party games, and valve games. Metro 2033 sold less than Red Steel 2, The Conduit actually outsold most fps on the twins, Ultimately if Goldeneye's sales hold it could actually only be outsold by the best of the fps on the HD twins Message | Report |

?? these are not good numbers for a holiday season. not sure why you are excited. It is a decent game. my only beef was why the visual quality varies from level to level. Is it possible to make a wii game that looks good in every area? Well, kong pulled it off. I find that useing the Wiimote (on a somewhat high sensitivity level) is far superior to anything dual analog can offer in EVERY way but one. Turning, aiming, moving, etc are much easier on the Wiimote, but aiming on the vertical axis is somewhat difficult, and quick turns are allways quicker when the dead zone is nonexistent (just like when using a CC) Message | Report |

I am honestly tired of people asking me why I bought BO for wii, seriously i had to go to 4 different retailers to purchase the f*cking game between annoying gamestop employees flat our refusing me or giving me sh*t, then after 2 weeks of it beign pre-ordered at blockbuster they never got it in for Wii, leave me alone, I like the controls and the online is great. @primogen18: You actually bought Black Ops for the Wii? Anyway, Black Ops has more options, but I've heard GoldenEye is better in terms of not lagging as much as Black Ops (for Wii). I've been playing GE007 online lately, and I have to say that its pretty damn solid for a Wii game in terms of lag =) Message | Report |

Multiplayer is very addictive, if this game had been released in the first year of wii software (along with all the online multiplayer), i think - good ego shooters (with online-multiplayer) on wii would be common, with a big fanbase who plays and buys them like on xbox Message | Report |

I hope that's the case spurgeonrya. I fear that Black Ops could take away from sales. I plan on getting GoldenEye but I will say some of the features in Black Ops (Wii) do look good.
