I don't know why everyone expected such huge sales from this. SF hasn't been a multiplatinum seller since the early 90s. I won't lie, though, I was expecting a *little* more. Not much more, though---I knew this wouldn't outsell SC4. As for Tekken 6, T6 will most assuredly outsell both this and SC4. Tekken has won the last 2 gens as far as traditional fighters are concerned, and it's far more popular in Japan and PAL than SF or SC. If a freaking PSP version of Tekken can sell 2 million (and we all know how bad attach rates for the PSP are), the console version (between both systems) should be able to hit at least 3 million. Time? Controller lag? No way! You need hand skills, I've got them. Too bad multiconsole online matches don't work, or you'd have your ass handed to ya by my Cammy! xD Seriously, it works great. What I have trouble with is Guile's Super/Ultra Combo. Other than that, all the moves pull off easily. I use a control stick though, and I was surprised, when I finally decided to try the D-pad, that it worked most of the time. Capcom did a good job optimizing the controller compared to SSFII: THDR. Xbots? I hope I don't enter in this category, because as far as I know, I was just stating obvious facts. None of the versions are superior or lacks anything... OK, maybe missing some backdrop textures and no anti-aliasing on the PS3, but as long as you don't take pictures of your own games and upload them on your computer so you can analyze every detail, it doesn't change a thing at all. By the way, I bought the 360 version just because all my friends bought it on the 360. So I guess it wasn't a very hard choice. o_O Message | Report |

Wow, wait, I had to wait for the game to load in order to play a match on my 360? Mister PS3 worshiper, you should know that Capcom optimized, ON BOTH CONSOLES, the control sticks so the moves would be pulled off more easily. If you figured that much, you'll also find out that pulling moves with both controllers' D-pad are ALSO easier than on Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. The game is made easy for everyone to play, newcomers and tournament players. Also, Xbox Live isn't 50$ a month (correct me if I'm wrong). Or wait... I think that if everyone can afford a PS3, it's because they have a job? So they can afford it too, right? I don't know, I've been told this many times already...! ;) Message | Report |

This is Japan all over, great first week sales followed by mediocre to terrible weekly sales for the rest of it's life. I'm surprised it didn't hit 100k on the PS3 in week 1 for Japan, then again it probably would've if the 360 didn't have it as well. Message | Report |

damn... however the HD games seem to be especially front loaded in Japan... so maybe better in the othe territories! although with RE5, KZ 2 for PS3, and a new game with the Halo name on 360, some of SF IV 's sales may be lost. i know several PS3 owners skipping SF merely because of this... the game isnt as fresh as i thought it was going to be, just the fact that since i have brought it i have been playing street fighter 2 turbo on my mame emulator. Its strange the game is good but not sf2TURBO good, if you get my meaning, not an AAA fighter in my book i would give it a mid 8 or something. I havnt even got to seth yet lol, thats probs why i dot enjoy it as much as sf 2. because it is too hard lol. and i cant do those super special combo's. :( Message | Report |
