Players opt to control one of the four Ninja Turtles, each of whom is armed with a number of offensive and defensive hand-to-hand moves and their favoured weapon. As such, players are offered four very different attacking styles as a Bo staff, nunchaku, Sai blade and katanas come into play within the game's free-roaming 3D stages. Perfectly mirroring the new TV series, the game's emphasis is on combat as the evil Shredder's Foot Clan attack from all directions.
