Good sales for the 3D collection as it normally is one of the weakest type of mario game in japan. I did expect a bit more from Switch hardware tho ngl. Still good.

Switch 2019 is starting to fight back. And what's with the 3DS bump? At first I thought it was the PS4 that had started to get back into almost-respectable territory but then I realised it was the 3DS.

Switch Lite launch vs Super Mario 3D Collection launch. It was predictable that 2019 would win this one. It'll be interesting to see how the next few weeks turn out. PS4 still dead in Japan and for Xbox One they could easily list the names of the people who bought one during the week.

Looks like Nintendo focused Switch shipments to the west. And with reports of the AC edition Switch being restocked in America it makes sense.

Switch sold a lot of hardware this week, but I was hoping they'd sell more. Makes me think they didn't ship an extra large amount to Japan. 3DS has a second week this year that it outsells the PS4. Wonder if it will get a 3rd?
