"  Dreams creator PieceOfCraft took to Twitter to reveal "Mario projects in Dreams are on hold" after their Super Mario, used by many user-generated Super Mario levels, was pulled offline. "

"PieceOfCraft went on to say they received an email from Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe that stated Nintendo had objected to their use of the Super Mario intellectual property in Dreams. "

"they can no longer edit the original creation, which is flagged as removed because it contains copyrighted material, and other Dreams players will not be able to find or use it. "It's kinda like a slap on the wrist,"

It's pretty shitty when fanwork goes up in flames. But it was expected...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

The Mario levels I played in Dreams were trash anyway, I can see Nintendo not wanting to be associated with some of them.

they were shity because it's just fan made games and not series games to be capitalized to make money.

You can make anything you want, but let's make a carbon copy of the most aggressively protected IP in video game history. What do you expect to happen...

Would be funny if Nintendo done the same on Mario Maker =p
Ban every level that is a remake of a previous official level and the like.

I don't see the big deal tbh. Many PS4 owners are Nintendo fans.

You know, perhaps using others intellectual property isn't such a good idea.

To play Mario maker you are giving Nintendo money. While buying dreams is giving Sony money.

You know I was joking right?

But considering your response I have to say that no one is buying dreams to play Mario on it, nor is these people earning money because of this. And anyway Dreams have sold very little.
