Yeah, they can fuck off.

FFS, Capcom. Enough of this crap! If you can bring your new game onto the Switch from the start, you're brain-dead stupid to not do so! You should have realized this LAST year!

Wait, so a business cannot wait to see if another game sells first? Seems logical to me, if people were not interested in a prior product of mine, why would I sell them another?

Because there is a huge difference between a person with a Switch not buying a port of Dragons Dogma for 50e or whatever they ask for it when you could literally buy an Xbox360 and the game for less and play it that way....

€32 and you would have the console and the game.

To claim that poor sales of that would suggest that people on the Switch wouldn't be willing to shell out for a brand new game would be like Ford saying they're not releasing a new version of the Focus this cycle because customers of theirs aren't willing to buy a 1998 Gen 1 Ford Focus for €13k

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Oh, fuck you Capcom.

This is just unfortunate...
Launch year, I was somewhat understanding.
2018, maybe a little less understanding.
Now, I have no idea why they are still in this particular mindset.

They should either build a team dedicated to Switch titles like Square or take Switch into consideration in multiplat titles.
It's tiring to hear these kinds of news that "if this sells well on Switch...maybe."

Oh I see, quite right.

Ok sounds fair. Buy this completely different game so you can get this completely different game.

Like at least tell me that with a DMC collection Capcom.

What if I like DMC but not DD?

Well Capcom, release DMC5 on Switch and i'll buy Dragon's Dogma. I need a "test" of your commitment to the Switch at this point

Capcom always makes Switch owners port beg.
