Exactly what the title asks, and why?

Will be sticking to only Nintendo systems for this question and since the poll is limited to only 10 answers, I had to cut out the less popular ones ;)

 

As for me, my favourite console is the Nintendo DS lite

I've always preferred handhelds over consoles, and the improved version looks nicer and still is able to play GBA games. I've played on the NDS for a really long time and still do to this day. The most games I've played on a specific console is definitely the NDS by far. Really enjoyed the games on it so that is why it's my favourite Nintendo console!

So many great RPGs and many of the major franchises had their mainline games began or had a lot of great installations of already existing franchises.

Portable = Nintendo DS
B/C with GBA games and had a great library of games as well - a lot of great rpgs too.
