If they do a new IP there's still gonna be people on them about not making games in their old IPs like GTA, Red Dead, and Bully.  I feel like with Red Dead confirmed, if they make a new IP too they might not squeeze in GTA6 this generation and going a generation without a GTA is a crime.

Rockstar drives itself to the brink of bankruptcy making the IPs it already has. I doubt they have the same resources to make any new IPs. They've been hit with the rising costs of development along with everybody else.

They're doing fine without new IP so I doubt they try making a huge game that is completely new

H*** will freeze over before GTA6 is not on the PS4.
