Good news everyone!

The group behind Ubisoft Montreal's Child of Light has been installed as a core development team at the studio and will explore a new project, CVG can reveal.

"We are super happy with Child of Light. The team did a good job and the game had a great reception," he told CVG. "We were proud to deliver something new and unique - a lot of people were surprised that Montreal was delivering this kind of game.

Well that's neat.

I like that this game is a more focused experience at a lower cost.

$15 for 10-15 hours of great gameplay I might want to revisit someday? Easy buy.

$60 for a game that has somewhere between 10 -100 hours of inconsistent gameplay value? I'll likely pass.

As long as they bring back Couer de Pirate to work on the soundtrack, I'll be happy.

That CoL soundtrack is just breathtaking.

Don't care for Child of Light, but glad to hear they are making it a seperate team. Smaller projects from big publishers is what I really like.

Too bad. I was hoping for yearly sequels.
