This kind of sentiment wouldn't hurt so much if they hadn't snapped up so many of my favourite offline franchises over the past few decades.

Command & Conquer; Theme Hospital; Populous; The Sims; SimCity. All these games are things I played growing up offline. They were solo experiences. I don't want to be forced to connect to other people in them.

I suppose aside from The Sims, most of them are dead anyway.

SSX & Burnout too. Ugh.
