I'm excited for Mario Kart 8, but I was sort of hoping Nintendo go back to the Double Dash approach again but better.

I'm probably going to sound like a prick for saying but I felt Mario Kart Wii was too causal and WAY TOO EASY!!!

I liked double dash best but the intro music was awful. Wii music intro music was brilliant. If i didn't have to suffer thru that intro i'd vote dd but it was too awful compared to wii which sets the mood to wanna play.

Agree n64 the best especially multiplayer.

Double Dash is nothing short of a classic...it's timeless. MK Wii was just...well, for me it was disappointing..but I guess Nintendo went through their casual stage and hopefully they get the hell out of that. Mario Kart 7 is fantastic and Mario Kart 8 looks to be absolutely phenomenal.
