In this interesting thread I want to talk about the sales of NSMBWii and NSMB.

NSMB is currently at 29.01mil and NSMBW is at 26.57mil.

Will NSMBWii manage to surpass NSMB or will it stay as a close second?

If they release it as a Nintendo Selects then yes.

NSMBWii should be able to catch up with NSMB.

If it does get put into Nintendo Selects then I'm sure of it.

It might, but if the WiiU will start to sell better so will NSMBU. That should take a chunk of NSMBWii's sales away. IF it happens.

But if we look at the time when NSMB2 came out NSMB continued to sell well.

Hm, not sure about that one. Many gamers seemed to be disappointed with NSMB2, maybe that was the reason. NSMBU seems to be almost universically acclaimed.

Ah yes,you are right and NSMBU is rated as the best NSMB game so far.

Depends, Both games haven't even budged a price drop, simply amazing!

I think we can all agree on both games passing 30mil no? Especially the DS one!

As for the question I'll say no for now!
