Metroid Prime 4

What would you like to see?

Metroid Prime 2 had Multiplayer; my question, would you like to see Online Multiplayer or any kind of multiplayer in Metroid Prime 4? Anything else you would like to see? Or do you want to see a 2d Metroid or something a little different?

No to multiplayer!
Metroid needs to concentrate on what makes it great.

In Metroid Prime 4 I would love to learn more about the relationship between Samus and Adam Malkovich's younger brother.

co-op.

i know that kind of goes against metroid's isolationist feel but maybe they could do it somewhat like how that did it with demon's souls where they blend the boundary between a single player and multi player experience a bit.

No clear objective at all times. No outside support, no rails missions. No real story at all except what the player makes through their actions and journey.
Less linearity than Prime 3; all on one planet; interconnected and surprising world ability to speed run and sequence break.
Fewer meaningless fetchquests than Prime 1-3
Kenji Yamamoto sole composer (unlike Prime 3 and Other M)
Absolutely nothing from Other M - no cutscenes, no anime story, no anime music, no feminine side. Samus is a shell for the player.
Absolutely nothing from Halo or related sci-fi shooters. Metroid is not a shooter. No co-op, no achievements, no multiplayer, no DLC, no patches, no social features, again no cutscenes or story, no escort missions.
Option for no motion control - did not like change of controls in Prime 3.

I remember having a wonderfull time playing multiplaer with my brother and friends. I was really surprised and siapointed to see it did not come back in MP3. So yes, I do want multiplayer, both local and online would be great.

I want some kickass visuals. I want this game to shut all the haters up. You know, all these haters saying WiiU is weaker than ps360 and that it has no game with good graphics.

I also want much more exploration and less traveling by spaceship from small level to other small level. I want it to be 1 huge open world or atleast a few really big worlds if it has different planets. The worlds from MP3 felt to liniar and to small.

I want some badass suits. Some badass weapons.

I want to see less Ridley and more Kraid. I never understood the obsession with Ridley from both Nintendo and the fans. I understand he is really cool and I love him, but he is in EVERY GAME, meanwhile Kraid is never to be seen anywhere despite them being both as important in the first Metroid.

I want it to have a great story, with alot of secondary character. What I loved about MP3 was the inclusion of other spacehunter. I want to play Samus who teams up with space marines and other bounty hunter in over the top conflicts the the space pirates with some of Samus' allies dying.

Loved Dark Samus, she was mysterious and bad ass, but I don't wanna see her in MP4. Imo she was dealt with permenantly in MP3 and her comming back would felt cheap and repetitive. I would feel the same way that when I always see Bowser or Ganon dying just to comback for more in the next game.

I wan't a fully controlable spaceship, with maybe 1or2 spaceship battle segments.

I would also love to see the Space Federation planet, get to walk around in the futuristic cities.

I don't care is Samus is silent or not, but I want voice acting in the game.

And most importantly, I want the game to have the sense of exploration and solitude that the MP series is known for with adding some good scares.

More dynamic combat: some sort of defence mechanism, something to add variety to the combat in the same way that weapons pick ups do.

I'd also want them to actually try and provide an engaging dark sci-fi narrative or at least explore the mythology of the series, as opposed to presenting it in a bunch data logs.

A slightly more realistic art style, definitely not down the route that other M went with plastic looking anime characters.

A few large open/bright/less threatening areas, which will contrast and add emphasis on the darker, scarier moment of the game.

Multiplayer is always welcome, If they have time to work on it after the completion of the main game then why not?

beter designed enemies, this one aspect of the artstyle I always thought let the series down. The enviroments are beautiful but the enemies look like they were stolen from Ben 10 or something (Ridley included)

There are plenty of sci-fi shooters out there if that is the experience you want.

Metroid Prime is absolutely the best thought out way of presenting a story I can think of (minimal cues, no dialogue, no characters, data logs that are optional but rich, and an emphasis on player exploration to make 'water-cooler' stories). Do not want.

Realism will probably make the graphics look worse, because it's very hard. Prime's aesthetic struck a good balance I feel. Prime 2 and Prime 3 actually looked more washed out and darker than that.

OK agreed.

Lack of focus, undue emphasis on shooting in the game, and tooling the single-player weapons to multiplayer combat.
