Activision and new IP.. Those are two things I didn't expect to see together.

i really enjoy Skylanders, and if anyone noticed, every non-playable character in the game is taken from the original PS games, many parts of the game are based on classic Spyro

i don't think this is a new IP , lots of characters come back and lots of lore does as well.
I'd call this a new IP only in the loosest sense, ala Yoshi as its own IP.
