Eidos Montreal Hit With More Layoffs

Eidos Montreal Hit With More Layoffs - News

Eidos Montreal has been hit with another round of layoffs after it laid off 75 employees earlier this year.

Insider Gaming is reporting that at least a dozen people have posted on LinkedIn they are no longer working at the developer.

The focus for Eidos Montreal right now is working alongside Xbox on games like Grounded 2 and Fable, along with an internal game, according to multiple sources. The internal game started development in 2019 and the sources claim has no way of recouping development costs.

Once these projects are completed it is reported "additional staff reductions are already forecasted."
