Why am I not surprised ?

That being said, an extra month isn't that big of a deal. As long as the team at FROM uses the extra time to cross their t's and dot their i's I think gamers will not be too bothered by the news of this delay.

I'm just wondering if releasing Elder Rings in such a jam packed month will take away from some of its sales. Other huge games like Horizon are slated for release the same month so we will see. Something tells me Elden Ring's will be fine as Soulsborne players are a unique breed.

I am concerned about the sales as well. Elden Ring still falls in that "Action RPG" genre that Horizon players will probably want to check out with how much hype is going into the game.

Plus other big releases like the next Destiny 2 expansion which is definitely going to be the biggest launch in Destiny's history, and Elden Ring releases just a few days after this expansion.

Fine with me, just make sure the game is as good as can be. Just started Demon's Souls this week (amazing experience thus far), so I got the time.

"The depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations" I always love how PR spins delays and bad news lol no idea how much a month can change but as long as the final game is as amazing as it's being hyped to be!
