Definitely the visual showcase of the show. Wish we saw more, though.

Since this might not get released anytime soon there is a decent chance that Forza Horizon 5 will get released before it.

Probably best if the series takes a break to make something really ambitious. Between FH2, 3 and 4, the series has gotten a little tedious for me. Even though I feel all were great.

I thought Forza 8 was coming this year. But they could have filled a void like this with something different and cross gen utilizing exisiting assets. Maybe something story driven like a NFS game.

So no Xbox One version? What happened to the 2 year cross-platform support?

Bandorr (on 23 July 2020)

Probably means it won't come out for 2 years.

If its really that far out, they should have a team improving Forza 7 for Series X.

The obvious thing to do in my mind is new cars, 120 fps patch, maybe some added effects like ray tracing on cars, etc.

Forza Motorsports 7 should have gotten more support even if Forza Motorsport ended up being a launch title even though it got supported longer then any other Forza Motorsports game before it, 7 could have used at least a couple DLC tracks and some more achievements to keep it fresh a bit longer. Having that easy money generating glitch that didn't get patched for a long time and no longer having manufacturers affinity levels didn't help its replay value either.
