Electronic Arts has via Twitter teased it will reveal Madden NFL 21 on Monday, June 1.

"So much more than a name...First look coming soon #Madden21," reads the tweet. It has an image with the date "6.1.20."

It was reported earlier Electronic Arts is looking to extend their partnership with the NFL, which is expected to be passed by the NFL owners. The new deal is set to run through at least the 2025 season with a chance to extend to the 2026 season if the developer can reach revenue goals.

Madden NFL 20 was the best-selling game in the US during its launch month of August 2019. It was the seventh consecutive year that a Madden NFL game was the best-selling game in August.

Madden curse almost happened again last year with Mahomes going down early in season with injury. Somehow he recovered pretty quickly and went on to win Super Bowl.
