October 2019 is the 32nd month that the Nintendo Switch has been available for. During the latest month the gap shrunk in favor of the Switch by 1.10 million units when compared to the Xbox One. In the last 12 months the Switch has caught up to the lifetime sales of the Xbox One by 13.55 million units. The Switch is currently behind the Xbox One by 2.90 million units.
The Xbox One launched in November 2013, while the Nintendo Switch launched worldwide in March 2017. The Switch has sold 40.74 million units, while the Xbox One has sold 43.64 million units.

Are there any charts showing the rise of the Switch vs. Xbox One graphed from the launch of the Xbox One? The way the chart is done gives accurate information, but I don't think it shows just how staggering the rise of the Switch has been.

Although I love them all, as each system really have a charm of their own, the switch is just something special. The library is great, and really has the "console quality" games on the go. I love the switch, and it is my go to system since release, hands down. Very happy it's a healthy system.
The that one month of November 2017 will be remembered as the only month Xbone outsold switch
