Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation VR has sold over 4.2 million units worldwide. This figure is up from three million units sold in August 2018. That would mean 1.2 million units have been sold in the past seven months.

PlayStation VR launched in October 2016.

Great news. We need more fully-fledged games like RE7 in our PSVR-enhanced lives.

Those are actually pretty solid numbers. Should break 6 million before PS5 comes.

Considering how expensive psvr is these sales are pretty good.

I wouldn't call PSVR expensive. You can find bundles all the time for $249, and even lower when they have a sale.

Take into account you have to own a ps4 to play psvr, so it really costs over $500 dollars depending on the type of ps4 you get. $250 is a lot for people after they have bought a console.

Slowly but surely.

PSVR seems to be holding the pace, that is very good. Every time someone says Sony is hiding the numbers or that PSVR is doing bad we soon see it isn't true.

Watch out. LABO VR could easily top those sales!

Considering the big difference in price it should. But considering Labo total is like less than 2M I don't think the VR version will do over 4M.
