by William D'Angelo , posted on 01 March 2019 / 2,604 Views

The highly anticipated Resident Evil 2 remake comes out this Friday and director Kazunori Kadoi and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi in an interview with Saudi Gamer have stated the company is considering plans to release DLC for the game. However, the developers are focused on the launch on the game and will evaluate DLC for the game after that.

Resident Evil 2 will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on January 25, 2019.

Well at least they are decent enough to think about DLC once the product is finished instead of announcing it before the game even launched.

Not sure what they could add for DLC but I would love it if Capcom can add a 2 player splitscreen coop feature. Sure it wouldn't make much sense to see a 2nd character with you but since RE5 I've always enjoyed playing RE with a partner

I would love form the DLC to focus on other existing parts of Raccoon City. They could be "what if" scenarios, or even DLC that gives more focus for Hunk, since we still know little about him.
