PlayStation 4 Vs. Nintendo 3DS:
Gap change in latest month: 1,974,603 – PS4
Gap change over last 12 months: 9,632,943 – PS4
Total Lead: 12,630,226 – 3DS
PlayStation 4 Total Sales: 48,966,865
Nintendo 3DS Total Sales: 61,597,091
The Nintendo 3DS is currently the best-selling platform of the 8th generation, while the PlayStation 4 is the best-selling home console. The PlayStation 4 launched nearly two years after the Nintendo 3DS.
During November 2016 the gap grew in favor of the PS4 by 1.97 million units. In the last 12 months the gap has grown in favor of the PS4 by 9/63 million units. The 3DS currently leads by 12.63 million units.
The PlayStation 4 has sold 48.97 million units, while the Nintendo 3DS has sold 61.60 million units. The PlayStation 4 is on track to surpass the 3DS at the end of 2017 or early 2018.
