Gap change in latest month: 201,319 – PS4
Gap change over last 12 months: 935,312 – PS4
Total Lead: 1,359,740 – PS4
PS4 Total Sales: 12,919,861
Xbox One Total Sales: 11,358,802
In January 2016 the gap in the US between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One grew in favor of the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 sold 201,319 more units than the Xbox One to bring the platform's total lead to 1.36 million units. The PlayStation 4 has sold 12.92 Million units in 27 months, while the Xbox One has sold 11.36 million units.
The PlayStation 4 launched in the US on November 15th, 2103, while the Xbox One launched on November 22nd, 2013.

WOW! The PS4 is so futuristic it has yet to be released until 2103 and it still has a big sales lead!!! That's a lot of faith in pre-orders :)
