All three of these perks seem to be the kind of thing which is buried in the code and which can easily be activated with a bit of computer wizardry.
I remember fumbling around in Mass Effect 3's files while modding Shepard's eye colour and then noticing that I could give myself all the preorder bonuses by just switching a few 'off' values to 'on'.
Don't care about no DRM circumvention nonsense. I bought the disc, those ones and zeroes belong to me! I can turn them on if I want!
Well at least they are superficial puffery and not things that actually affect the game.
