The Wii was one insane beast....
Wii will beat it up HAHAHAHAA
I wouldn't count on Wii "falling like a rock" too, as it has sold 21m in 2009 and 17m on 2010. Even 2011 was good, with 11m+.
Go Wii! NX must be like you!
No wonder Nintendo wants another Wii console. That and the software sales. Not sure NX can deliver on that front though.
People should realize that the Wii fourth year ( what they call a massive drop ) is bigger than PS4 2014 and most likely 2015/2016...
It's not even fun anymore, sthap it!
The holidays should be interesting.
It's hilarious how desperate some people are to claim Wii still has some relevancy. PS4 will beat it, and if denying that is child level of naivety.
Shame these articles keep using more more month of data for the Wii.
Yeah... I'd like an explanation of that. But I'm not sure the one month is really going to matter much in the long run.
while I agree it doesn't matter much in the long run, none of these monthly articles matter much in the long run. The fact the same mistake is being made over and over is just getting disappointing.
Comments that being up the Wii's sudden plummet in sales seem to be downvoted below the threshold, whereas comments suggesting the Wii is an unstoppable force of nature are sitting at the top. I'm less interested in seeing PS4 vs Diminishing Wii more interested in Price Drop PS4 vs Wii.
Well, we got tired of explaining how totally wrong it is to suggest the Wii had a summit plummet each and every week, so it became much more time effective to simply downvote the ill researched claims. Seriously, look at the last PS4 vs Wii article if you're wondering why you're wrong.
Prepare yourselves
Once again an extra month of data for the wii.
Will go pretty fast downwards from here on now.
That's not even remotely true.
Well this will keep up for about year or 2, than the wii dropped like a bomb and the ps4 will catch up wirh it.
At the end i predict about 100-120mill ps4,s
No doubt. Wii will fall like a rock on his fourth year, while ps4 will continuum his momentum. Only dumb people want refuse that.
^^^"his", what? This comment is funny. Also you should respect people's opinion by not calling them dumb since I don't see PS4 beating the Wii so does that make me dumb?
Only dumb people wouldn't take the ten seconds to look at the data and see that the Wii sold 17 million units in its fourth year which was an 18% drop from its peak.
It's truly a shame I had to read that post twice.
